God Bless. | Not everyone in the Mideast wants peace By Clifford D. May, Scripps Howard News Service Because the Obama administration is keen to restart negotiations between Israeli and Palestinian leaders, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has offered a 10-month freeze on West Bank settlements. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas has responded by demanding more -- as a pre-condition, before he will talk. Just a guess: Netanyahu is not surprised. Nor should anyone else be. It doesn't require Donald Trump to know that the art of the deal starts with an understanding of what each side wants. Yet for more than half a century, Western politicians and diplomats have built upon a mirage: the belief that because we see peace as a benefit, everyone in the Middle East must see it that way, too. Read on... | One that calls for a Response Each Friday we take a meaningful quote, tie it to scripture, and leave you with a take-home. | Geert Wilders, a Dutch member of Parliament said: “Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam 'the most retrograde force in the world', and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran. The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor. I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times. I support Israel. First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz, second because it is a democracy, and third because Israel is our first line of defense. … The war against Israel is not a war against Israel. It is a war against the West. It is jihad. Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us.” God says: “I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.” (Revelation 19:11-15). The Jerusalem Connection says: As Cliff May has pointed out above, the goal of those opposed to Israel is not peace, nor will it ever be. And as Geert Wilders states, the world has swallowed the Palestinian narrative. These things will not change until Messiah comes to rule and reign and to destroy those opposed to God and his plan for Israel. Palestinians living in peace and security side by side with Israel is a fantasy concocted by a leadership in Israel, the US and elsewhere, that will never happen, not even when Messiah comes. The best that Israel can hope and prepare for until then is the restraint and containment of its enemies and that will only be accomplished by a superior military force (accompanied by God’s grace of course). Also until then Christians must stand with Israel regardless of the fact that we will also remain in the cross-hairs of those opposed to God – that too until Messiah comes. | Palestinian Ambassador to Lebanon Abbas Zaki: Two-State Solution Will Lead to the Collapse of Israel Watch Video | Looking for the perfect gift for the holidays? The House of Representatives is likely to vote on the Iran Refined Petroleum Sanctions Act before they leave town for Christmas. We need to make sure that the House not only passes this bill, but that it passes it by as wide a margin as possible. Contact your Congressmen and tell them to support the Iran Refined Petroleum Sanctions Act of 2009. If they are already co-sponsors, please thank them for their support. | The Jerusalem Connection International P.O.
