Obama Disses Netanyahu
By Suzanne Fields, The Washington Times

If a photograph is worth a thousand words, a sharp newspaper cartoon is often worth the book. One Israeli cartoonist depicts Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the missus arriving at the White House to meet with President Obama. Mrs. Netanyahu knocks at the front door with the explanation: "We just happened to be in the neighborhood." Another cartoon depicts the prime minister pulling up at the White House, and telling the driver to wait: "I'm not sure they're at home."

With a few strokes of pen and brush, the cartoonists capture the prevailing Israeli dismay, frustration and controlled fury at Mr. Obama's reluctance to meet the prime minister, who was in Washington this week. The administration wanted to punish Israel by setting "pre-conditions" for talks and for not having a more "conciliatory" attitude toward those who vow to "wipe the Jewish nation off the map."

On the street and at higher levels, Israelis look back in anger, observing that the president set no "pre-conditions" before he would meet Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the president of Iran, who is on the way to building a nuclear weapon to put Israel in mortal danger. The Israelis say Mr. Obama wants to extract an opening promise to freeze settlements on the West Bank and East Jerusalem, something that's never been a pre-condition for starting talks.   Continue Reading>>

One that calls for a Response
Each Friday we take a meaningful quote, tie it to scripture, and leave you with a take-home.

William J. Burns, U.S. Under Secretary for Political Affairs said: "Our goal in the region is clear, two states living side by side in peace and security; a Jewish state of Israel, with which America retains unbreakable bonds, and with true security for all Israelis; and a viable, independent Palestinian state with contiguous territory that ends the occupation that began in 1967, that ends the daily humiliations of Palestinians under occupation, and that realizes the full and remarkable potential of the Palestinian people."… "We do not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements; we consider the Israeli offer to restrain settlement activity to be a potentially important step, but it obviously falls short of the continuing Roadmap obligation for a full settlement freeze.”

God says: “I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.”… “Yahweh your God will put all these curses on your enemies who hate and persecute you” … “The cup from Yahweh’s right hand is coming around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory." (Exodus 23:22; Deuteronomy 30:7; Habakkuk 2:16).

The Jerusalem Connection says: The trend lines of the Obama administration and its relationship to Israel are not good. The tragic policy of the Bush administration establishing the “two state solution” now appears sacra sanct – it’s in concrete. If not corrected, the even greater tragedy is God will no doubt see the U.S. as enemies of Israel and subject to His curse. I guess when Yahweh says He will gather all nations against Jerusalem, He really does mean all! (cf. Zechariah 12:2-6; 14:1-5).

The Third Jihad

The Third Jihad, the newest offering from the producers of the captivating documentary film, Obsession, explores the existence of radical Islam in America and the emerging risk that this “homegrown jihad” poses to national security, western liberties and the “American way of life.”

In 72 minutes, the film reveals that radical Islamists driven by a religiously motivated rejection of western values cultures and religion are engaging in a multifaceted strategy to overcome the western world. In contrast to the use of “violent jihad” and terror to instill fear in “non-believers,” The Third Jihad introduces the concept of “cultural jihad” as a means to infiltrate and undermine our society from within.
