Big news for Jerusalem Connection

Donate Today    Donote Monthly Dear Portia, Pat and I have some great news to share – a major paradigm shift in our ministry!  We are excited to announce, The Jerusalem Connection Report is going online.  By the first of December we are going to have a totally new website with daily updates on news, commentary, videos, and all things Israel.      What we have done in a 32 page magazine six times a year to reach 4000, we can now do daily to reach 40,000,000. While we will be decreasing the frequency of our magazine, we will be vastly increasing the outreach of our message. So many of you have reinforced the positive and unique place the magazine has had for you. Our aim has been to present a magazine that balances pro-Israel articles by syndicated journalists, timely and pertinent news about Israel, all couched in a prophetic and Biblical context. From the encouraging responses we’ve received from many of you, the magazine is very special. Rabbi Benny Elon (formerly of the Israeli Knesset) recently held up The Jerusalem Connection Report two different times at a conference in Washington, DC, and said, “This is the best magazine out there – it has the issues completely right!” The Jerusalem Connection Board met last month and encouraged us to put the message of The Jerusalem Connection Report on the internet. We and they believe that the message and the “microphone” will be multiplied exponentially, and Lord willing, “immeasurably more than all we could ask or imagine.” (Ephesians 3:20) We are really excited about this new ability to spread the message to so many people.        We trust all our friends and supporters will recognize that most of our ministry expenses continue, even though we are on the internet. We still have rent and utilities. A Jewish believer who supports the work rents us office space at a greatly reduced rate. Though much of the work is volunteer, we still have specialized staff costs. We will still have printing/postage costs. There are start-up, upkeep and maintenance expenses for the new web site. We hope to have the new web site up and running no later than December 1, 2009 so stay tuned for the big announcement. Together, our work is cut out for us. We need your prayer and financial support as you have given it in the past. We need your help to take the new and upgraded Jerusalem Connection Report online.
