Hamas has a Great Gig
By Bill Wilson

The Palestinian terrorists in Gaza have a great gig. Hamas picks a fight with one of the world's most advanced militaries. Hamas uses women and children as shields when the Israeli military comes after them after years of the terrorists shelling innocent Israeli men, women and children. They fire back at the Israelis from positions close to schools so that when retaliation occurs, the schools are fired upon with great fanfare from a very biased media. And after their entire infrastructure is destroyed, they look to the United Nations and other countries playing the role of "humanitarians" to rebuild their system of terror. Only this time, another terror group, the Palestinian Authority, will oversee the money.

Since the hostilities have somewhat ended-as they never really do with these terrorists-the United States government, the United Nations and a host of other victims of this international shell game have rushed to send money to the poor terrorists to rebuild what the nasty Israelis destroyed. There are homes to be rebuilt. There are roads to be rebuilt. There are businesses to be rebuilt. After all, the world wouldn't want these terrorists to strike again because they live in such poverty that it angers them to become violent. It is a sure fire bet that much of the money will be diverted to rebuild infrastructure of a different kind--underground weapons smuggling tunnels, grenades, AK-47s, missiles and more.  Continue Reading>>

One that calls for a Response
Each week we take a meaningful quote, tie it to scripture, and leave you with a take-home.

Stan Goodenough said:  “A recent survey in Israel revealed that the country's Jews nurture an ‘ambivalent approach’ towards Christians and Christianity….The Jerusalem Institute for Israel Studies carried out a ‘survey examining the public's stances towards Christianity, the Christian world and Christian presence in Israel.’ The institute was motivated to carry out the poll at least partially due to recent events that have strained relations between Jews and Christians. These were the Vatican's recent rehabilitation of Holocaust-denying Bishop Richard Williamson on the one hand, and a recently-aired television skit in Israel that mocked Jesus on the other. Jews were generally infuriated by the former, many Christians by the latter….Ynetnews reports that on almost all issues, ‘seculars exhibited an open-minded approach towards Christianity, whereas religious respondents were less than tolerant….Asked whether Jews should be allowed to visit church, 80 percent of seculars replied positively and 83 percent of religious respondents answered negatively.’”

God says: “I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.”... “I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.”… “I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, so that you may not be conceited; Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved.” (Deut. 32:21; Isaiah 65:1; Romans 11:25-26).

The Jerusalem Connection says: The prophet Daniel said, “There is a time of distress coming such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then.”      (Daniel 12:1). The prophet Isaiah said, “Though your people, O Israel, be like the sand by the sea, only the remnant will be saved.” (Isaiah 10:22; cf. Romans 9:27). The sooner Christians and Jews realize we are in this thing together to the end, the better off we’ll both be.

Genocidal Teddy Bear

Following is an excerpt from the Hamas childrens show Pioneers of Tomorrow, featuring the debut of a new character Nassur the teddy bear, replacing Assud the giant Jew-eating rabbit who was killed in Operation Cast Lead. In the clip, Nassur the Teddy Bear vows to join the military wing of Hamas.  The program aired on Al-Aqsa TV on February 13, 2009.

The Black Israel Nexus

In celebration of Black History Month, The Jerusalem Connection is delighted to inform you about our Special Issue The Black/Israel Nexus.  With 31 pages of features and articles from Black and Jewish Zionist leaders, this special issue gives an empowering message of strength in friendship. Purchase your copy from our online store ($5 and free shipping).

There was a day when Blacks and Jews marched arm in arm from Selma to Montgomery.  That same tie that bound them then may be resurrected today to bless Israel during its hour of need.  It is our hope that as Israel’s friends become fewer and its enemies more powerful, Jews and Black Christians reunite to stand with Israel.  This magazine brings a message that will cause a Zionist revival in the Black church.
