Does Barack Obama Plan to Emasculate Israel’s Alleged Nuclear Deterrence?
By Emanuel A. Winston, Mid East analyst & commentator

President-elect Barack Obama plans to "get tough" on Israel’s alleged nuclear weapons. This is not new policy from the U.S. State Department.

October 30 to November 1, 1991 Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir attended the Madrid International "Peace" Conference. He was urged not to go but, he ignored the warnings. He assumed he could handle everything. As predicted, Israel was facing "Kangaroo Court".

Shamir and the other Israelis present were thrust into an ambush arranged by then Secretary of State James Baker III and Baker’s  infamous [trio] … Dennis Ross, Aaron David Miller and Daniel Kurtzer. These three were selected by Baker because they were ambitious, leftist Jews and could be depended upon to take their marching orders from Baker and the ever pro-Arab U.S. State Department.

They are now advising Obama on how best to deal with Israel, as they did before.
While they denied playing any significant role at the Madrid Conference, it was reported by those present that they bounced from room to room, pressuring, making recommendations and otherwise guiding the tenor of those meetings.

While Ross, Miller and Kurtzer were doing their lobbying, mostly biased toward the Muslim Arab countries’ position, I had an uneasy thought. I sensed and wrote then that I thought the Baker team would urge some Arab Muslim country’s representative to ask for a "Nuclear-Free Zone" in the Middle East. Sure enough, near the end of the Conference, like a well-oiled scheme, the Egyptian representative did ask for a "Nuclear-Free Zone", in effect, to eliminate Israel’s deterrence to enemies who far out-number her. One that calls for a Response
Each week we take a meaningful quote, tie it to scripture, and leave you with a take-home.

The Palestinian Authority's second most senior negotiator, Saeb Erekat, said: "[President-elect] Obama expressed his full support for a Palestinian state. He told the president (Abbas) he will continue to promote the peace process, which will end with a two-state solution. Obama said he will keep working in collaboration with the Israeli government and PA to reach a final solution. He said he'll do everything in his power to help create a Palestinian state as soon as we can."

God says: "I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land." ... "Then you will know that I am in Israel, that I am the LORD your God, and that there is no other.  Never again will my people be shamed." (Joel 3:2; 2:27).

The Jerusalem Connection says:
Apparently President Obama plans to continue the tragically failed Bush administration's "Road Map to Peace." The "Two-State Solution" with its emphasis on "land for peace" continues to be an act of defiance against the God of Israel and His covenant promise to provide a national homeland for the Jewish people.  Moreover, it invites and will eventually receive, the judgement of God on its proponents, whether Jew or Gentile. The voice of the Christian Zionist must continue to be heard, loud and clear, in opposition to these nonsensical, anti-God diplomatic policies.

Israeli War Hero Roi Klein

Roi Klein was a Major in the Golani Brigade of the Israeli Defense Forces. In the Battle of Bint Jbeil during the 2006 Lebanon War, a hand grenade was thrown into the house where Klein and his unit were present. Klein told his men "Report that I've been killed" and subsequently jumped on the live grenade and stopped the explosion with his body, saving the lives of his fellow soldiers.
