| Dear Portia,
Skip the long wait times and early reservations! Join volunteers across the globe for the first ever Dine in for Shiloh, a phantom dinner party. Instead of getting dressed up, filling up the gas tank, and hiring a babysitter, fire up your grill or just grab a bowl of Cheerios. By forsaking date night to Dine in for Shiloh you can donate the money you save to the Shiloh Israel Children’s Fund (SICF). SICF is an organization dedicated to helping terror victim children in Shiloh to live happy and productive lives in the heartland of Israel by providing their much needed emotional and physical therapy. Last spring The Jerusalem Connection raised over $10,000 for SICF at our Night to Honor Israel and we are hoping to raise twice that this year. Check out our Dine In menu to read about the various SICF projects you can give towards: a Bible Room, Emotional Therapy Program, Girl Scouts Youth Center, and a Petting Zoo. Or make a donation to SICF in memory of Yonatan Eldar, 16 of Shiloh, who was killed by a Muslim terrorist while studying Torah in the Mercaz Harav Yeshiva on March 6, 2008. Since this is a faux dinner party you can do it any night you want and send the donation at any time. And unlike the restaurant bill, all donations to Dine In For Shiloh are tax deductible!
